Full-Day Capacity. Airbag Ready. Built for the Backcountry.
The Poacher R.A.S. Vest is for lift-assisted laps. The Poacher R.A.S. 36L is for when you're going all day. At 36 liters, it carries everything you need for a full backcountry mission — avi kit, layers, food, water, splitboard or skis — in a panel-loading design with backpanel access to the main compartment so you're not unpacking everything to get to your lunch. The molded back panel hugs your body for aggressive riding without the pack shifting, and the R.A.S. 3.0 RollTop airbag compartment integrates cleanly with the Mammut airbag system. Deployable dual-position helmet carry, splitboard pole and ice axe loops, padded hip belt with side pocket — this is a pack that was designed by people who actually go into the backcountry, not a daypack with an airbag slot bolted on.
Note: R.A.S. Removable Airbag 3.0 and Cylinder sold separately. DK Impact Spine Protector compatible (sold separately).

Why We Carry Dakine
Dakine has been building backcountry packs since 1979, and the Poacher R.A.S. line is the most complete airbag-integrated pack system they make. The 36L is the one for riders who are serious about full-day missions — enough volume to carry everything, enough organization to find it when you need it, and the R.A.S. integration to make carrying an airbag a non-negotiable part of the kit rather than an afterthought.
