The Passport Shape, Sized Down for the Groms Who Are Ready to Go Find It

The K2 Passport Jr takes the proven directional shape of the adult Passport and rebuilds it specifically for younger riders who are past the learning-hill phase and ready to start exploring the whole mountain. Whether that's chasing a parent through the trees at Schweitzer, finding pow stashes off the side of a groomer, or just lapping runs faster than they should — the Passport Jr keeps up. The profile is stable enough to handle choppy, variable conditions without being stiff or unforgiving, and light enough that smaller riders can actually maneuver it without fighting it.

Directional Combination Camber puts traditional camber underfoot for real edge hold and pop, with rocker at the tip and tail to soften the catch and add float in deeper snow. The Aspen core keeps the weight down and the flex responsive, while Biax fiberglass strikes the right balance between forgiveness and feedback. Sintered 4000 base holds wax well and stays fast all season — even when the groms forget to get it tuned.

About K2

K2 has been building snowboards in the Pacific Northwest since 1987, and their youth lineup gets the same design attention as the adult quiver — not just scaled-down versions of adult boards, but shapes built around how kids actually ride. The Passport Jr is a genuine progression board, not a beginner throwaway.
