The United Shapes Deep Reach Splitboard is what you reach for when the objective is serious and the snow is deep. Designed around a directional shape with a tapered tail and early-rise nose, it floats through Selkirk-style powder without the sluggishness that kills your legs on the way back up. The medium flex keeps it honest — forgiving enough for variable spring conditions, responsive enough to hold an edge when the pitch steepens. This is a board built for people who actually go out there, not just talk about it.
The FSC-certified poplar/beech core with six paulownia stringers keeps the swing weight low on long approaches, while the center carbon stringer running tip-to-tail adds backbone and stability without killing the playful feel underfoot. The carbon V in the nose stiffens things up where it counts — when you're punching through wind crust at the top of a ridge and need the nose to track, not deflect.
